Elliott, Year 2

In this second year of life, Elliott grew leaps and bounds. He didn't really start walking until after his first birthday, but that didn't stop him from trying. Enjoy!

More hats!

Grandma just kept on sending hats, and we kept putting them on.

Elliott, at this point, is learning how to ham it up for the camera...

Oh, a camera!Arrrrrgh!
Weebles wobble, but they don't fall down...

One of the first pics of Elliot truly walking.

Yeah, I like to work out...

This counts as a hat, right? Okay, mom bought this one, but I still blame grandma...

Grandma sent Elliott this cool four-wheeled bike. He takes it all over the house. Everywhere.

This is how I roll...
Ground control to Major Elliott..

One of the neatest gifts Elliott has received from his Grandma is this drum, which was filled with all sorts of musical equipment. Drum also doubles as a helmet...

One of Elliott's favorite pasttimes includes stealing drinks from 'unattended' drinks within reach.

Ah, Mommy left her drink unattended (nevermind Daddy taking pictures...)Ooh, a straw even, how nice!Ah, that's a refreshing drink!
It's a dirty job...

Elliott loves playing outside, and he loves mud. Loves it. Eats it...

Elliott is also obsessed with Daddy's computer... So we let him look around NOGGIN.

World of Warcraft is so cool!
Chick MagnetNot spoiled...

Grandma loves to send shirts with all sorts of funny things on them.

This is probably something all toddlers and preschool do, where they something they either aren't supposed to have, or at least think they're not supposed to have, and just run. Note the mischievious look in his eyes...

I've got a secret...
Photobucket - Video and Image HostingDude, where's my car? What basket?Fun, fun, fun.

Random pics of Elliott just having fun around the house.

By far the most significant change for Elliott this year was becoming a big brother. Almost from the start, he proved to be an excellent big brother, making sure to give his brother Simon plenty of kisses and brotherly advice. From giving him snuggles, to showing Simon how toys work, Elliott is a great big brother.

And when you push this button...I nuff you, Simon... Muah!So the priest says to the rabbi...
Babies like to drink milk...Cartoons on Sunday mornings suck... See what happens when I do this? Now you try...

More brotherly love. Elliott loves to help out with baby brother.

Still more hats... Elliott loves to wear my field hat, and he puts it on all the time.

Young Indiana Jones?Daddy found me!
What you talkin' 'bout Mephistopheles?Handsome devil, ain't he?

If it will go on Elliott's head, he will find a way to get it there. These were taken the same day as the ones above, just before he found Daddy's field hat.

So, for the first year Elliott could actually go out and play in the snow, we hardly got any. I think this was a whopping 2 inches. Mom was determined to go and make a snowman however. Here, we see Elliott looking for enough snow, and his sudden shock at what was produced.

Snow...Where are you snow? Snow? You call THAT a snowman? You're kidding, right?
Nummy can-nee!Rockin' Around the Christmas Tree...! Gotta find the good stuff...Now that's what I'm talkin' 'bout!

For his second Christmas, Elliott was much much more interactive. Able to open presents, sneak candy from the gingerbread house, and sing along to holiday songs, he really got a kick out of things.
