Having veins or arteries. Any tube-shaped structure that transports liquids.

Vein

In animals, a blood vessel that carries blood to the heart from other parts of the body. In plants, a strand of vascular tissue.

Ventral

Referring to the underside, or belly of an organism, typically for vertebrates.

One of several bones that comprise the vertebral column, or backbone, in vertebrates. The Plural form of vertebra is vertebrae (pronounced verteBREE).
