Igneous Rock

A substance that cannot be dissolved in another substance.

Occuring within a cell.

Any animal without a backbone. Examples include insects, and jellyfish.

Ion

An electrically charged atom or molecule, which gained a charge by losing an electron.

Isofilar

Thread-like shapes that are uniform in size and/or length.

Isotope

In chemistry, the various forms of a single element, which vary by their number of neutrons.
